Steve Kantscheidt

Founder & Chief Executive Officer

Steve is the Founder and CEO of Humantel – an insights platform which combines a suite of multimedia insight channels with a built in ideation platform for teams. He has spent his entire career in pursuit of what motivates people, how to better understand them and now, he wants to help brands do the same.

Before Humantel, Steve has spent over two decades in market research focused on consumer motivations working for industry leaders such as Showtime, Universal Music Group and Latitude Research. In 2008 he then launched his own company, THREE Group, creating custom market research, growing to a team of 40 people all while setting new standards across the industry.

Steve spent the last year building Humantel with industry guidance to help brand professionals understand people better, make people-first decisions, and create a shared understanding that there is far more that unites us than divides us.

Gordon Haupt

Gordon Haupt

Chief Technology Officer

As the Chief Technology Officer, Gordon oversees a team of experts responsible for building and maintaining our platform infrastructure, designing the user experience, and holding our company to the highest engineering standards.

Gordon comes to Humantel with over 20 years of Silicon Valley experience building and leading diverse engineering and operations teams. He has occupied early leadership roles in multiple technology startups, scaling teams and processes to achieve product/market fit and drive revenue growth for innovative technology products.

He has a B.S in Engineering Mechanics from the University of Wisconsin – Madison, and M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in Aeronautics and Astronautics from Stanford University.

Matt Davis

Chief Financial Officer

As the Chief Financial Officer, Matt oversees corporate strategic planning and all financial activities.

With nearly two decades of experience in Corporate Finance, Project Finance, Strategy, Energy & Operations, Matt previously served as an executive at corporations such as CapZone, Capitol Peak Asset Management, Moelis & Company, GE and Morgan Stanley, where he oversaw strategic initiatives, internal M&A transactions and business development.

He holds a B.S., cum laude, in Nuclear Engineering and Engineering Physics from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute where he earned the Alpha Nu Sigma award for excellence in scholarship from the American Nuclear Society. Additionally, Matt holds an MBA from NYU Stern School of Business. Matt is a certified Nuclear Engineer Officer by the Department of Energy and holds his FINRA Series 7, 24, 50, 63 and 79 licenses.

Channel Director, Wellness Mindset

As the Channel Director of Wellness Mindset, Anna oversees a cross functional team facilitating the exchange of insights and ideas across data analysts, journalists and creatives focusing on consumers passion of health.

Anna has experience as both a strategy consultant and manager with a special interest in arts, new initiatives and meaningful brands. With a background in the creative sector as well as strategy development, she is fascinated by the challenge companies face to stay relevant and what that means for their clients, products and organization. The more complex the better.

Her career has spanned across the globe where she was marketing emerging artists in New York and then made her way back to Amsterdam to continue strategy consulting. She’s worked with leading brands as well as start-ups for more than 15 years allowing her to combine insights, strategy and creativity to help organizations in their transformation.

Anna graduated from the University of Amsterdam with a degree in Organizational Psychology and Communication and is involved with UN Women, founding the HeForShe Arts Week in the Netherlands, an initiative to leverage the arts for gender equality.

Allen Cerasani

Channel Director, Sport Fandom

As the Channel Director of Sport Fandom, Allen oversees a cross functional team facilitating the exchange of insights and ideas across data analysts, journalists and creatives focusing on consumers passion of sport.

Allen brings 15+ years of brand marketing and data strategy expertise to Humantel with a track record of driving bottom line revenue growth for a range of companies including large institutions such as Amazon and Citibank to smaller food service restaurants including Caribou Coffee and Einstein Bagels. He has also developed multiple customer loyalty and reward programs utilizing his forward-thinking approach to consumer motivations.

He earned his bachelor’s degree from Yale where he also played division 1 soccer and holds an MBA from Duke.

Leah Fischman

Channel Director, Workplace Culture

As the Channel Director of Workplace Culture, Leah oversees a cross functional team facilitating the exchange of insights and ideas across data analysts, journalists and creatives, focusing on the drivers of employee engagement.

Leah brings a deep bench of experience working with corporations, nonprofits and startups at the intersection of social impact, content and media. After 15 years in executive roles at Time Warner Inc and Showtime, and serving on the Boards for community nonprofits, she founded her own consultancy to focus on mission-driven work. It’s with this integrated approach and people-first lens that she lends her expertise to the Humantel team.

Leah is a champion for creating inclusive cultures and access for underrepresented communities. She’s worked with organizations to help develop and improve upon issues ranging from diversity and social impact to brand messaging to foster change and growth. Leah works with leaders to bridge gaps across disciplines and stakeholders, and drive maximum engagement with existing/new audiences. She’s passionate about helping clients communicate and shape their mission and business to strategically position them for success in an ever evolving and cultural landscape.

Jessica Sterling

Jessica Sterling

Head of Research Methodology

As Head of Research Methodology, Jessica designs multi-channel study methodology that is grounded in science and established psychological principles. By providing a framework for collecting empirical evidence related to the motivators of consumer action, Jessica is instrumental in evolving our understanding of the human experience. She works closely with the data scientist team and channel directors to ensure high quality data collection is turned into relatable and valuable insights for brand action.

Prior to Humantel, Jessica had a 20 year career in gathering and utilizing data-driven and evidence-based insights for business decision making. Through her doctoral training in Industrial/Organizational Psychology from the State University of New York at Albany, she has leveraged her knowledge and expertise in research methodology, psychometrics, and statistical analysis to create rigorous programs in the fields of market research, leadership development, and talent management.

Most notably, Jessica spent over 10 years as the Principal Client Research Analyst in IBM’s Corporate Market Intelligence. She oversaw their most comprehensive and complex suite of primary research offerings in the areas of brand image, advertising testing, customer satisfaction, buyer behavior, competitive intelligence, and social media.

Ari Roitman

Ari Roitman

Head of Partnership Development

As the head of Partnership Development, Ari is in charge of maintaining and strengthening relationships with current and potential partners of Humantel. Ari and his team are responsible for sourcing, negotiating and developing new business relationships.

Before joining Humantel, Ari worked with the Philadelphia Eagles for nearly ten years overseeing revenue generation, corporate partnerships, premium sales and strategy related to the monetization of media assets. He also worked at Major League Baseball for nine years in corporate sales and marketing.

Prior to his time with MLB, Ari worked for three years at SFX Sports Group, primarily with the 1999 World Cup winning US Women’s Soccer Team. 

Asiya Hasan-Damen

Advisor – People & Culture

As an advisory board member, Asiya is responsible for helping to shape the strategy for company culture, find new ways to inspire and motivate Humantel employees and ensure the proper approach is implemented.

Her career began by helping brands and agencies build relationships with clients driven by her motivation about understanding what motivates people and helping them reach their goals. Her experience has ranged across a variety of industries from FMCG to Retail, Consumer Electronics, Fashion, Education, Banks, Tobacco and Airports.

Her twenty-year career has led her to live, and work in Boston, New York, Melbourne and Amsterdam where she currently resides with her family.

Fraser Warren

Fraser Warren

Head of Brand & Communications

As an advisory board member, Fraser is responsible for helping to shape and implement communication strategies to promote and expand the Humantel brand across the world.

Fraser brings an expansive portfolio of experience in the creative industries in London and Amsterdam focusing on brand design, creative strategy, design for retail, innovation, content generation, human engagement and human experience design. He has also worked across multiple sectors with organizations include Sony Play Station, Asics, Coca Cola, Mastercard, TomTom, Under Armour, VW Group, Unilever, Caterpillar and Tesla.

Fraser graduated from Loughborough with a Design Technology degree and has spent the last five years fascinated by the potential of design to activate business culture and evolve the way business operates. He works in Humantel’s Amsterdam office where he resides with his family.
